Northwest Evaluation Association (“NWEA”) understands the importance of protecting your privacy and strives to treat your personal data according to applicable laws that regulate securing the access, maintenance and transfer of personal data. This Privacy Statement (“Statement”) describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit this website at www.nwea.org (“Website”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information.

Personal Information

We collect and store Personal Information that you provide voluntarily when using this Website. Personal Information is information that can identify you as a specific individual (“Personal Information”). Anonymized aggregate or statistical information from which such identification cannot be reconstituted are not Personal Information. Typically, NWEA will collect Personal Information for the following reasons:

  • To allow us to respond to inquiries and requests;
  • To allow us to process an event registration form;
  • To allow access to an informational electronic mailing list, newsletter, or database; or
  • To contact you about the services on our site about which you have expressed interest, such as newsletters or products.

Children

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information online from children under the age of 13 from the Website. The Website is intended for use by those in the fields of education, businesses and other adults. We request that children under the age of 13 do not submit any Personal Information to us. If we learn that we have collected or received Personal Information from a child under 13, we will delete that information.

Non-personal Information

When you browse the Website via computer or mobile device, including smart phones or tablets, we gather and temporarily store technical information about your visit.
